Honorees:
Uwurukundo Teddy
Teddy
has lived in Rwanda with Type 1 diabetes for 28 Years. Teddy
is a passionate advocate for advancing diabetes empowerment in Rwanda,
and participated in the DEInt sponsored tailoring and glucose sensor
programs. She is a peer educator, helping to teach others her tailoring
and diabetes self care knowledge.
Steven Weddle
Steven Weddle is an experienced international investment executive at major financial institutions. As President & CEO at the Southern Africa Development Fund, he managed an international board of directors representing varied business sectors. He has liaised with local governments to transform economies through capital raising and investments in financial services, healthcare, agriculture, food services, floral export, and telecommunications in South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. Steven is a passionate believer in high quality healthcare for anyone living with chronic medical conditions.

Seth Herzog, currently the resident
comedian and sketch performer at "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy
Fallon." Besides appearing on VH1 for ten years as a humorous
commentator, he has also had memorable turns on Comedy Central,
including; 'Broad City," "Chappelle Show," "John Oliver's NY Stand
Up show," "@midnight," & "Stella." You may have also seen him on
NBC's '30 Rock," ESPN's "Mayne Street," and hosted two shows on the Nat
Geo channel "Duck Quacks Don't Echo" & "Science of Stupid." In terms
of the big screen, he's appeared in the films; "Role Models," "Prime,"
"In The Weeds," "The Baxter," "The Ten," and stars in the Amazon comedy
"Boy Band."
