Honorees:
Rachel Stahl Salzman
Lecturer in Medicine and CDCES Lead in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Weill Cornell Medicine

Rachel is dedicated to empowering individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes and to leverage diabetes technology to optimize their health and quality of life. In addition to her clinical role, she serves as the Endocrine preceptor for the hospital’s Dietetic Internship Program, contributes to interdisciplinary education, and leads quality improvement studies to advance diabetes care.
Through her leadership in several diabetes and nutrition professional organizations, Rachel has fostered collaboration and support amongst colleagues to provide more innovative, accessible, and high-quality care for individuals living with diabetes and related cardiometabolic conditions. She currently serves as President of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) Metropolitan New York Chapter and Nutrition Services Payment Specialist for the Diabetes Dietetic Practice Group. Rachel frequently presents at regional and national conferences and publishes on topics related to nutrition, diabetes management, and digital health. Her dedication and leadership have earned her numerous honors, including the Rising Star Award from ADCES and Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year from the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Dr. Aime Manzi
Medical Doctor and Clinical and Advocacy Program Director at the Rwanda Diabetes Association

Dr. Aime Manzi was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2008 while still in primary school. He has lived with the condition for over 18 years, a journey that ignited in him a deep passion for medicine and a commitment to helping others. He has received glucose sensors through the Diabetes Empowerment's CAPT1D (Continuous glucose monitoring Amongst Patients living with Type 1 Diabetes in Rwanda) study, and has used this experience to advocate for greater glucose sensor access in Rwanda.
Driven by that personal experience, Dr. Manzi pursued medical education at the University of Rwanda, where he earned his medical degree in 2022. He is currently furthering his expertise through a Master's degree in Epidemiology, strengthening his capacity to drive evidence-based advocacy and impactful healthcare programs.

Seth is a longtime, beloved NYC comedian. He's
currently the resident comedian and sketch performer at the "Tonight
Show starring Jimmy Fallon," he's also had parts on NBC's "30 Rock,"
Comedy Central's "Broad City," "Chappelle Show," "@Midnight," "Stella,"
& "John Oliver's NY Stand Up Show." Seth was also the
lead in the Amazon musical comedy feature film, "Boy Band," as well as
had great turns in the films "Role Models," "Prime," "In The Weeds,"
"The Ten," "The Baxter," and others. Seth was also a
humorous talking head on VH1 for 10 years and has been hosting and
producing one of NY's best monthly comedy shows for over 10 years,
"Sweet."
